Choose to have your ceremony in the beautifully manicured Grand Dédale Gardens under a decorated gazebo, by the labyrinth or, for a more intimate option make use of our thatched stone cottage which offers a typical chapel feel and can seat up to 90 guests.
Depending on the number of guests and your personal style, Grand Dédale offers various options for your formal wedding reception or a cocktail function.

Grand Dédale Veranda
Cocktail style/Aperitif – up to 120 guests
Sit down lunch or dinner – up to 80 guests on a long table or 90 guests on round tables
A truly gracious venue overlooking the mountains, forests and gardens invites you to celebrate any occasion in style. The veranda has a solid roof and the terrace at the bottom of the staircase is ideal to use as a dance floor. Alternatively choose to have your pre-dinner drinks here.

Our extensive landscaped gardens are perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony or a cocktail party. Large oak trees provide shade; alternatively we can hire a Bedouin tent or umbrellas. Depending on the chosen area, the gardens overlook the forests and Bainskloof Pass.
Pool Terrace

Cocktail style – up to 200 guests
Sit down lunch or dinner – up to 120 seated
The pool terrace is spacious enough to seat up to 120 guests and still offers space for a dance floor. The venue overlooks the valley as well as Bainskloof Pass. A gourmet braai area with fire features is available for outdoor entertainment and live cooking.
Dining Room

Cocktail style – up to 60 guests
Sit down lunch or dinner – up to 30 seated
This beautifully appointed room in the heart of the Manor House is ideal for small celebrations or executive boardroom meetings.
Old Wine House (Romantic Cottage)
Wedding Ceremony – up to 90 guests seated
This thatched stone cottage dating back to 1707 (romantic living cottage), can either be used as a honeymoon suite or as a wedding chapel for the ceremony. The room upstairs which opens up onto a balcony overlooking the downstairs area is ideal for a string quartet or an organist player. Four French doors open up onto a veranda overlooking the paddocks.
Labyrinth & Paddocks

The views from our paddocks and the labyrinth overlooking the vineyards and the mountains are simply magnificent “A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools.”
