Choose to have your ceremony in the beautifully manicured Grand Dédale Gardens under a decorated gazebo or, for a more intimate option make us of our thatched stone cottage which offers a typical chapel feel and can seat up to 60 guests.

Depending on the number of guests and your personal style, Grand Dédale offers various option for your formal wedding reception or a cocktail function. The elegant tasting room courtyard is large enough to accommodate up to 120 guests including a dance floor, and the adjacent tastefully decorated tasting room can be transformed into a stylish bar and "chill out" lounge.

For smaller weddings the gracious Grand Dédale veranda, the dining room in the Manor House, the Old Wine House patio or the pool deck provide the right atmosphere for a memorable celebration.

Grand Dédale Veranda

Venues

A truly gracious venue overlooking the mountains, forests and gardens invites you to celebrate any occasion in style. The veranda has a solid roof which makes it the ideal “back up” venue for a wedding ceremony on a rainy day, and provides shade for any other function on a sunny day.

 

Old Wine House Terrace

This venue overlooks the paddocks, river and forest. There is no natural shade and wind protection, therefore it is advisable to hire umbrellas for day functions, and a Bedouin tent for evening functions.

 

Old Wine House

This thatched stone cottage dating back to 1707, which is our romantic living cottage, can also be used as a function room. With its typical “chapel” feel, it is perfect for a wedding ceremony. The room upstairs which opens up onto a balcony overlooking the downstairs area is ideal for a string quartet or an organist player.

 

Grand Dédale Gardens

Our extensive landscaped gardens are perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony or a cocktail party. Large oak trees provide shade, alternatively we can hire a Bedouin tent or umbrellas. Depending on the chosen area, the gardens overlook the mountains or the river.

 

The Tasting Room

Venues

The newly renovated tasting venue is situated in the wagon house that was originally built in the late 19th century. The earlier rugged style of the exterior was maintained
with its thatched roof and large windows and doors, while the interior captures the essence of understated style and elegance.

 

The Tasting Room Courtyard

Venues

This is the ideal venue for a wedding reception or a large dinner party.
The adjacent tasting room can be used as a bar and lounge area, the outside covered area gives space for a dance floor. A stretch tent is not necessarily needed, but advisable to protect from possible bad weather conditions.
Kindly note that the tasting room and courtyard can only be used for dinner functions, and set up can only start from 15h00 mid-week and from 13h00 on a Saturday or Sunday.
